CLIENT AGREEMENT

 

This agreement is made on today's date (listed above) between the Client (the person and/or company named above, hereafter referred to as "the Client") and the Designer, Lauren Antrosiglio working under the alias of Tao Website & Graphic Design.

Project  

  • The Designer agrees to provide design, consulting, and marketing services to the Client (or any service under the umbrella of this agency).

  • The Designer agrees they will remain the sole provider for the term of this project.

  • The Client agrees to use only the design services of the Designer and not to bring any other logo or graphic designer, web developer, or other design professional into the project while it is still in the process of completion. This assures that the Designer will be able to adhere to all deadlines and present you with the best work possible.

  • If the Client brings another professional designer or developer into the project, this is considered a breach of agreement and the Client is responsible for the immediate payment of the amount due for all work completed up to that point, including a $100 agreement breach fee.

  • All websites are a representation of the Designer's work, and so they must be kept to the same quality standard going forward. To this end, the Designer will make 10 minutes of free changes or updates to the site per month. Anything above that will be charged at the one hour minimum. This can include adding new text or images or anything else that the Designer can do quickly. This will keep your website looking professional and functioning correctly!

Rush Projects  

  • In the event that the Client requests a rush project from the designer and the Designer accepts, the work shall begin within 24 hours.

  • The Designer will finish the project and hand over the deliverables within 72 hours of the initial request, unless the designer  requests more time due to the nature of the request.

  • Occasionally, a project will have unforeseen issues, and more time will be needed. In that case, the designer will notify the client as soon as this delay becomes apparent.

  • All rushed services are charge at a $10 per hour increased rate.

  • Payment for services rendered are due at the beginning of the project(or in the case of websites, payment for the homepage is due after approval of the homepage), and at the latest, upon the client’s final approval of the deliverables. The final project will not be delivered to the Client until full payment has been received.

Client-Designer Communication  

  • The designer will respond to all client communications via email or text (whichever the client prefers) within 24 hours.

  • Tao Website & Graphic Design gives careful attention to each client's project; therefore, all feedback regarding the website needs to be via email or text (no Zoom or phone calls). Contact the Designer is via email at lauren@taowebsites.com or text at (541) 604-8290. 

Limits on revisions before payment  

  • When the final project draft is sent to the client, the client can request as many revisions as they would like; however, the revisions must be completed and approved within one week. This ensures that the client will be happy with the final result, and also that the payment for work rendered is not held up by ongoing revisions.

  • Once payment is received, the client may still request changes, and these will be billed at the regular hourly rate with a one hour minimum.

Extended Terms

  • This agreement is taken in tandem with the general Terms & Conditions on the taowebsites.com website, and use of this website and signature on this agreement is also an agreement to those terms.

Agreement Termination  

  • Either party may terminate this agreement at any time for any reason they deem necessary with written notice.

  • Upon cancellation of this design agreement, the Client will be responsible for all expenses incurred prior to agreement termination.

  • Should the Client choose to cancel this project after the project’s completion, the client will remain responsible for full payment of the complete project total.

By signing below, the Client agrees they have read, understood, and will comply with the terms listed in this agreement.
